Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic
• Experience with Cerner

Schedule Requirements

• Hard start date: 9/21
• May be required to float to like units or lower-acuity units across the organization, excluding the ED
• Must work 4 weekend shifts in each 4-week cycle
• Must work at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend

Additional Compliance Requirements

• Proof of W-4 on file
• 7-year criminal background check
• HHS/OIG check
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• N95 fit test within 1 year of start
• Tdap vaccination required
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation required
• Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination required
• 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
• Flu vaccination or declination required for the season
• Two satisfactory references
• Employment application required
• Skills checklist required

Experience Notes

• Less than 6 months of Cerner or Epic experience is not accepted for RN candidates

• Scrubs are not required in a specific color
• OR and L&D scrubs are provided by the facility
