Job Summary: Therapy/Rehabilitation Travel Contract in Seattle, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details

Important Notes
- Candidates must have prior travel experience; first-time travelers are not accepted.
- Must be comfortable working with children with autism and their families.
- Documentation and billing experience with EPIC is mandatory.
- Physical, sexual, and psychological abuse recognition training is required.
- Patient/family education skills are essential.
- Must be able to use specific pediatric evaluation tools.
- Contract length is 13 weeks.
Compliance & Onboarding Requirements (Summary)
- Background checks covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, updated annually.
- Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start.
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Physical exam within 1 year
- TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Fit mask testing (N95 or equivalent) required for travel candidates.
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years.
- Skills checklist updated annually.
- Completion of required WorkRamp training modules prior to start (specific to Providence Health and Services system and specialty).
- EPIC training modules must be completed and transcripts submitted prior to moving to Paid Day Work status.
Additional Requirements
- Float Policy Acknowledgement: May be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance.
- Must be proficient in documentation and billing requirements specific to Medicaid and SLP evaluation coding.
- Must be able to recognize and manage patient safety concerns related to abuse.
- Must have experience with alternative and augmentative communication devices.
This position is ideal for experienced pediatric speech-language pathologists with prior travel contract experience who are comfortable working with children with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders in an outpatient setting using EPIC documentation.
