Job Description
- Work in Liver Care/transplant Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Transplant experience required

- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
- Education verification: Degree from an accredited nursing program (NLN or CCNE)
- Drug testing within 60 days of start (9-panel minimum, instant screens not accepted)
- Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands
- Immunizations and titers required:
- Tdap vaccine or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (Q-gold/T-spot or PPD)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella titers (boosters if low titer)
- Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption required for 2025-26 season
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Completion of orientation modules (~6 hours) during orientation week
- Pharmacology exam, Point of Care Testing, Airborne Precaution Mask Fitting at orientation (not pass/fail)
- Basic Knowledge Assessment Tool (BKAT) for RNs/LPNs in Tele/Step-Down, Progressive Care, ICU units
- HIPAA and confidentiality agreements required prior to start
- Virginia State Police fingerprinting required for all RNs in Pediatrics, NICU, Behavioral Health, Labor and Delivery units
- Central Registry Search (CPS) required for all RNs in specified units; must be submitted within 48 hours of contract signing
