Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Requirements:

  • Weekend shifts required
  • Up to 5 days of Return to Office (RTO) allowed
  • 1 holiday approved off
  • Three missed shifts may result in assignment cancellation
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (client may cancel up to 3 shifts during assignment)
• Floating: Floating within scope to other ICU/Telemetry units as well as Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units is required
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated (no specific schedule requests allowed)
• Locals Accepted: Yes
• Pending License: Not accepted
• On-call: Not required

Experience & Certifications

• Required Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse
• First-time Travelers: Accepted
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Required Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
  • NIH Stroke Certification (valid within 2 years)
• Preferred Certifications:

  • CCRN (Critical Care RN) for ER and Interventional Radiology (optional)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) for ER (optional)

• Background Checks:

• Licenses:

  • Primary source verification of California RN license within 30 days of start
• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 12 months clearing employee to work without restrictions
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility guidelines
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Tdap vaccine or declination
  • Flu and COVID-19 vaccination or facility-specific declination required
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (no instant tests)
• Fit Mask Testing: Required (N95 or approved masks)
• Competency Exams: Annual medication/pharmacology competency with minimum 80% score
• References: Two professional references required, including one from most recent experience
• Work History: Complete 15 years of work history required on application
