Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Telemetry)

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Unit Description

23-bed medical surgical unit
Patient population includes orthopedic, spine, general surgery, bariatric, and some medicine overflow
Fast-paced environment with 10-20 post-op patients daily
Cardiac and oxygen monitoring capabilities
Requires both medical and surgical nursing skillsets
Float to other units as needed
Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
Experience in Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, and Bariatric patient care
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
