Work Schedule

• Day shift: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:15 PM)
• Monday through Friday
• Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required

Job Description

• Work in main OR and OB-C section
• Call requirements:

  • Minimum two call shifts per week (Monday through Friday), each call shift is 8 hours starting immediately after your work shift
  • Weekend call required: one 24-hour weekend call per 4-week schedule (Saturday 7 AM to Sunday 7 AM or Sunday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM)
  • At least one 24-hour holiday call per contract
  • Must be able to arrive at hospital within 20 minutes for emergencies
  • For scheduled on-call cases, arrive 1 hour before case start
  • Post-case duties include supporting patient care in PACU, cleaning rooms and instruments, and setting up rooms for emergent cases such as C-sections
• Orientation includes one week of hands-on training (4 or 5 days depending on shift length)

Required Experience and Skills

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a First Assist Technician, with experience within the last year
