Job Description
- Position floats between units based on per unit needs.
- On-call required once per week, one weekend every 6 weeks (weekends on-call only).
- Expected nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1.
- Must be fully competent in all neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies and complex spine surgeries.
- Occasional floating to other services within the main Operating Room.
- 48-hour shifts are not approved.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year.
- Neurosurgery experience with full competency in neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies and complex spine surgeries.
