Job Overview
- Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Louisiana
- Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (R)
- Proficiency in embolization procedures
- Proficiency in coiling procedures
- Proficiency in ablation procedures
- Proficiency in implant procedures (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
- Skilled in Impella device operation
- Skilled in IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) device operation
- Skilled in IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) device operation
- Skilled in Shockwave device operation
- Skilled in Rotoblator device operation
- Skilled in laser device operation
Clinical Experience
- Experience with embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants, including ports, pacemakers, and ICDs
- Experience with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
- Experience with STEMI care, including FTB/DTB under 60 minutes
- Ability to perform peripheral and EP procedures
Schedule and Call
- Every other weekend coverage
- Call up to 3 times per week
- Weekend call every other weekend with weekday call rotation
- Must live and respond within 30 minutes
Work Setting
- Cardiac, peripheral, vascular, EP, and IR procedures
- Independent work expected in all Cath Lab procedures
- Team-oriented, patient-first environment
