Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Newton, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts (10:30 AM – 9:00 PM) on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Work Hours: 40 hours per week
• Experience with Canon and Toshiba CT scanners required

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Current ARRT certification in CT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current and valid

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried during work hours
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation required
• Criminal background check within 1 year, including:

  • 7-year criminal history check covering all locations lived/worked
  • SSN trace, county, national criminal searches
  • FACIS level 3 check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet job demands, updated annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually if applicable
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
• Immunizations or titers required:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines, positive titer, or signed declination)
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines, positive titer, or declination)
• COVID-19 vaccination required; if unvaccinated, must complete facility-specific medical or religious exemption forms
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required for the 2025-2026 flu season with specific documentation details; mask-wearing required if declining vaccine
• Proof of 2 professional clinical references
• Completed employment application/resume showing minimum 1 year of experience
• Annual competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency testing as applicable

Additional Notes

• Kansas DCF Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry results required for Home Health RNs (not applicable for this role)
• Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
• Facility-specific COVID-19 exemption forms may be required if applicable
