Overview

  • 12 HR Day Shift, 36 hours per week
  • Contract length: 7 weeks
  • Must live 50 miles away

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in District of Columbia
  • Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room (2 years of experience)
  • Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room experience within the last year
  • TNCC
  • NIHSS
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting

Role Focus

  • Provides specialized care to infants, children, and young adults in urgent medical need
  • Provides clinical practice and care coordination in accordance with hospital policies, standards, and philosophy
  • Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team
  • Uses Patient Centered Care as the foundation for nursing care
  • Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times
