Overview
- Temp assignment in Washington, District of Columbia
- 12-hour day/night rotation
- 36 hours per week
- Must live 50 miles away
Unit
- Cardiac Stepdown/Progressive Care
- 48-bed cardiac focused stepdown unit
- Includes 4 pulmonary care beds and 10 cardiac surgery beds that the traveler is not required to take
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in District of Columbia
- Cardiac Stepdown (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
- NIHSS
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with Cerner
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
Clinical Focus
- Frequent IV drips: Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, Bumex
- Frequent diagnoses: CHF, NSTEMI, Arrhythmias, Vascular Surgery
- Cerner experience required
