Nursing Contract Opportunity - Arizona, Tuba City

Position Summary

• Role: Clinical Nurse
• Responsibilities: Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. Ability to work independently to complete assignments.
• Guidelines: Follow physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures, and hospital policies.
• Patient Care: Support individuals of all ages and their families.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute facility (higher value between 2 and 3 years interpreted as 3 years).
• Prior travel experience: Required.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any U.S. state, territory, or Puerto Rico.
• Must maintain current certifications throughout employment:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six months of hire

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Orientation: Every 2 weeks
• COVID & Flu Exemptions: May be accepted after submission of declination form

Housing

• Limited housing options
• Shared housing units available at $600 per month (based on availability)
• No family or pets allowed in housing

• Located in Northwestern Arizona on the Colorado Plateau
• Serves a culturally rich and diverse community including Navajo, Hopi, Southern Paiute, Anglo, Hispanic, and African American populations
• Facility provides comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures
• Staff includes a wide range of medical providers and nursing professionals
