Registered Nurse, Correctional Medicine

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting, following provider orders and established nursing standards, techniques, procedures, and policies. The facility houses approximately 1,300-2,000 inmates/patients.

Work Schedule

Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
72 hours bi-weekly
Includes every other weekend and rotating holidays
Shift schedule is fixed and will not be adjusted for availability

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
Minimum 1 year of correctional nursing experience, with experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
