Respiratory Therapist Tech - Nights

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Description

Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support.
Perform physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.
Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations.
Utilize equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Ventilator.
Night shift schedule: 1830 to 0700, three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours). No guarantee of hours.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii.
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
Certifications required: BLS, PALS, ACLS.

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment on Friday.
Prior travel experience is required for this assignment.
