Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Days
Location: Tuba City, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Summary
The Clinical Nurse provides care for perioperative patients in the Operating Room (OR). Responsibilities include assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning and evaluating interventions based on patient outcomes. The OR nurse is expected to circulate in various specialty areas including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental. Scrubbing experience is highly encouraged. The role may require working varied or odd hours when on call and preparing for emergency cases on short notice.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) credential
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

- Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
