Location: Morristown, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Provide age-specific, direct patient care in the Emergency Department (ED).
Deliver nursing care using the Nursing Process within departmental and specialty-specific standards.
Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of tasks to other staff members.
Manage daily unit flow and support the Team Lead.
Handle staff scheduling issues such as managing call-outs.
Step into clinical assignments during high census or when call-outs cannot be backfilled, including triage duties.
Represent the unit at hospital-wide bed huddles.
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont.
Minimum of 5 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current certifications in:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
