Radiology Tech - Cath Lab

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Active ARRT
• BLS (must be AHA certified)
• ACLS (must be AHA certified)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years working as a Radiology Tech in Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP), and/or Vascular settings
• Experience with heart catheterization procedures
• Experience with peripherals, pacemakers, and ablations

Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations ensuring quality diagnostic images
• Operate imaging equipment according to patient cases and guidelines
• Procedures include heart caths, peripherals, pacemakers, ablations
• Monitor patient vitals and complete charting

Equipment Used

• Philips FD20 and Azurion B20 imaging systems
• Epic charting system
• MacLab
• ACIST injector
• CSI, Laser, Shockwave
• Balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impellas
• Carto mapping system

Schedule & Shift Details

• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call: 1-2 times per week, including every 4th weekend
• Late team call 1-2 times per week (stay until late procedures are completed)

Unit Information

• 3 Cath Labs in the department
• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Ceil Blue provided

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to apply for the Minnesota Net Study within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
• Must disclose if previously worked for the health system with at least a 6-month gap before reapplying
