CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Little Falls, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a CT Technologist with solid CT experience (preferred over mammography). This role involves coverage across multiple areas including ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR settings. The position may require floating to assist with radiology injections and biopsies, with training provided if needed.

Required Certifications

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Preferred: ARRT - CT

Experience & Skills

• Strong knowledge and skills in X-ray and CT imaging.
• Experience with C-arm use in surgery for emergent cases may be required.
• Ability to perform various imaging studies including CTA (stroke-related), trauma imaging, and orthopedic joint imaging/procedures.

Equipment & Technology

• Siemens 128 slice CT scanner
• Siemens Ysio X-ray system
• Siemens MIRA portable unit
• GE OEC C-arm
• Hologic Mini-C
• EMR system: EPIC
• PACS system: McKesson

Work Schedule & Environment

• Shift lengths vary: 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on need.
• Possible shifts include early morning, day, evening, and overnight hours.
• Weekend work typically every 3rd or 4th weekend.
• Holiday work as needed.
• Call or standby may be required if short staffed; no call if fully staffed.
• Orientation: Approximately 1 week of unit/department-specific training.

• No clinical involvement beyond imaging duties.
• The department is busy and demanding, especially with a busy ER and clinic.
• Successful candidates demonstrate good communication skills, willingness to learn, and eagerness to work.
• Floating to other areas may be required with training provided.

Required Qualifications

• Valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (with CT preferred).
• Current BLS certification.
• Solid CT imaging experience.

Notes

• Radius rule: Candidates must be located within 50 miles and not currently or recently employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) with certain affiliated health systems within the past year.
• Response to call and holiday shifts as needed.
