• Unit: 2nd floor, 24-bed hospital unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: Team care model
• Average census: 14 patients daily
• Patient specialties on unit include oncology, renal, urology, general surgery, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, and general medicine

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS Certification required
• Must pass a skills exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90% (open book)
• Driver’s license required at submission to verify candidate location within a 50-mile radius
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to comply may result in contract termination
• Candidates may not currently be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with the employer’s health system
• If placed on call and called back in, must be able to arrive within 30 minutes

Experience

• General medical-surgical nursing experience required
• No explicit mention of prior travel experience required
