Mammo Tech - Mammography Technologist

Location: Melrose, Massachusetts Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 8 hours per day Hours: 32 per week preferred; up to 40 possible Schedule: Mostly 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with one possible day of 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM to reach 40 hours. No on-call. Overtime is always available.

Locations and Travel

• Works across 4 campuses in the area, all with the same machines.
• Screenings are performed at all campuses; diagnostics are performed at only one.
• Some days may involve travel between locations, but most days will not involve more than one location.

Required Qualifications

• Massachusetts MA license
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Certified Mammography Technologist, ARRT (M)
• Ability to perform screenings and diagnostics
• Experience with bone densities and biopsies
• Completed 200 mammograms in the last 2 years
• CEUs must be up to date

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to perform biopsies (not a deal-breaker, but highly preferred)
