Job Details

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Work Schedule: 9-hour shifts with rotating weekends, holidays, and weekly on-call rotation (8-9 call shifts per month)
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes from time of page
- Orientation: 3 to 5 days, including 12 non-billable orientation hours
- Floating: Not required to float
- Scrubs: Provided by hospital
Department & Work Environment
- Department: Cath Lab (separate from IR and EP)
- Number of Labs: 6 suites/labs
- Average Cases per Day: 10 to 15
- Call Coverage: Cardiologists on call 24/7; primary charge nurse on shift 06:00–15:30 (does not routinely complete cases but takes call)
- Mandatory Call List: Used when staff cannot fulfill call shifts
Job Duties

- Monitor hemodynamics
- Circulating during cases
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist
- Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) certification
- Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience with McKesson systems
Additional Requirements & Notes
- Must be within 50 miles of the facility for local placement eligibility
- Drug-free workplace: negative drug screen required for all panels
- Call off policy: Equivalent of 12 hours off every 13 weeks with no penalty or pay obligation
- Submission requirements include last four digits of SSN, middle initial, requested time off, and license status confirmation
