Overview
- Location: Ketchum, Idaho
- Setting: Small hospital
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, typically 0700–1530
- Call is required
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Active Idaho RN license
- BLS
- Previous travel experience
- Minimum of 3 years of OR experience
- Strong ortho background
- Some endo experience
- Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes of the hospital
Preferred
- ACLS
Unit Details
- Unit: Surgical Services OR RN - Flr 2
- 4 OR suites plus 1 Endoscopy Suite
- Average of 8 cases per day
- Common cases include ortho, sports med, hands and trauma, general, gyn, C-sections, and endoscopy
- The OR team covers endoscopy
- CSTs are required to have some SPD and HLD experience
Additional Notes
- Scrubbing is not required for RN
- Holiday call may be assigned during the contract
- Blue scrubs are provided per surgical services attire policy
- OR shoes are required
- Travelers receive 5 days of unit-specific orientation with a preceptor
