Overview

Travel assignment in Redding, California.
13-week contract.
12-hour day and evening shifts.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of OR Tech experience.
Active BLS.
COVID vaccine required.

Preferred Qualifications

CST preferred.

Clinical Details

Cases include all types except transplant.
CVOR cases include CABG, valve, pacers, lead extractions, and lung cases.
Main OR cases include ortho, general, vascular, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma.
Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine is noted.

Schedule and Assignment Details

1:1 ratio.
Weekend and holiday coverage is by call.
Call is 1–2 weeknights per week, plus weekend call about once per month.
Shifts may be 8s, 10s, or 12s.
Mids start at 9:00 am or 10:45 am.
One shift of floor-specific orientation with a preceptor.
Scrubs are provided by the hospital.

Great hospital. Kind and friendly staff.

Cons

The cafeteria is a hit and miss. Some days they have great sea food with saffron rice! Some days microwaved food :D. But there is alwaaaaays, pizza available ;)
