L&D Nurse

Overview

• 13-week assignment in Beatrice, Nebraska
• Combined L&D and postpartum position
• 2 LD rooms, 2 PP rooms, one swing room, and one observation room

Required Qualifications

• Post Partum experience
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• STABLE certification
• At least 2 years of experience preferred by the source as the minimum experience level

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS is a plus

Schedule

• 3 12-hour night shifts, 7:00pm-7:00am
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Typically not on call

Float Scope

• If OB/NSY is closed, the OB nurse floats to Acute Care and assists with answering call lights

Additional Details

• Hospital scrubs are provided
• One OB nurse and one nursery nurse are scheduled each shift
• Nurses are cross-trained in both departments at night
• Ratios are 1:1 during labor and up to 3:1 on postpartum
