Physical Therapist Job Opportunity

Location: West Jordan, Utah
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide therapeutic interventions to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physical disorders. Care includes strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and training in activities of daily living under supervision. Participate in documentation, program development, teaching, and clinical skill enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions such as ADL retraining, patient education on home safety, adaptive equipment use, compensation techniques, coordination, strengthening, therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy, therapeutic activities, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education tailored to patient needs.
• Work with patients in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab settings.
• Use electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation (prior experience preferred).
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating to other areas or sites as needed.
• Work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, after hours, and overtime as required.
• Typical shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with approximately one weekend per month.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
• Dry Needling Certification or education only if performing dry needling.
• Previous direct patient care experience preferred.

Additional Information

• Must be within a 60-mile radius and have a valid driver’s license submitted.
• Clinicians must be physically present in the state during the week of orientation, even if some modules are remote.

Work Hours

• 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
• Day shift with potential for flexible scheduling and overtime.
