Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Corsicana, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Start ASAP
• Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, 3 shifts per week
• No call required
• No 48-hour option
• No block scheduling
• No floating
• Maximum return to office (RTO): 36 hours

Unit Details

• Labor & Delivery and Postpartum required
• Nursery experience preferred
• Unit beds: 14
• Patient ratios:

  • Labor: 1:1-2
  • Nursery: 1:6
  • Postpartum: 1:6
  • Mother-Baby couplets: 1:3

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
• Postpartum experience
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
