Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location: San Marcos, Texas

Shift: Nights, 7 PM – 7 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide independent nursing care in a telemetry setting, managing routine and complex patient needs. Utilize the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor effectiveness and side effects, and document patient information accurately. Educate patients, families, and caregivers as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Work Schedule

• Full-time, night shift (7 PM – 7 AM)
