RN Cardiac Cath Lab

Overview

Travel RN role in a Cardiac Cath Lab in Denton, Texas.
Shift: 7A–7P, days with call.
Contract length: 13 weeks.
Hours per week: 36.

Unit Details

Unit has 2 cath labs, 1 EP lab, and 1 IR Neuro lab.
Patient ratio: 1:1.
Typical procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart caths and interventional radiology.
Floating may include the Emergency Department, Discharge Lounge, and other areas as needed within skill set.
Rotating call after hours and weekends is approximately 50% of the month.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
ACLS.
Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience).
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year.
Cardiac catheterization lab circulating experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Electrophysiology experience.
Interventional Radiology experience.
Interventional Neuro experience.

Equipment / Systems

Temporary Pacemaker.
Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump.
Impella.
Penumbra.
Shockwave.
IVUS.
IFR.
GE mac lab monitoring.
Innova imaging.
EMR: Mac Lab/Meditech.
