Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• CPI
• ENPC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Trauma experience
• Stroke experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Adult and pediatric emergency department experience
• Experience with trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis
• Completed certifications aligned with the contract and pool requirements

Unit Details

• Emergency department with 30 beds
• Typical patient ratio is up to 1:5, depending on acuity
• Uses advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines
• EMR is Meditech, with a planned move to Expanse on 8/13/26

Clinical Experience Highlights

• Thoracotomy
• Arterial lines and MTP

Work Environment

• Flexible, accountable, responsible, and team-oriented
• May float to two free-standing emergency departments if needed

Dress Code

• Royal blue scrubs
