ICU RN

Overview

  • Travel RN role in ICU
  • Unit has 30 beds
  • Floor: 3rd ICU
  • Floating area: IMU
  • 36 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Neuro experience

Unit Details

  • Typical procedures include thoracentesis and arterial line and central line placement
  • Equipment includes CRRT, IABP, and Impella; these are not mandatory for contracts
  • EMR: Meditech

Schedule

  • 4 weekend shifts per schedule
  • No on call

Dress Code

  • Royal blue scrubs
