Unit

Surgical Services
495 beds

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. (4x10 day shifts)
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
On-call: 6 to 8 calls per month, which can include weekends

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia (Virginia State License or Compact License)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Operating Room (OR) experience: minimum 2 years, with OR experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA only)
Experience with robotic surgery
Specialty experience with General surgery
Specialty experience with Gyn surgery
Trauma experience
Orthopedics experience
Vascular Surgery experience
Urology experience
Bariatric experience
Thoracic Surgery experience
Experience with Epic

Other Details

EMR software familiarity is expected.
