Overview

• Travel MRI Technologist role in Portland, Maine.
• Evening shift with call rotation.
• Can rotate between sites if not on an overnight position.

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience.
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year.
• ARRT (MR) or AMRIT.
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients.
• Philips MRI scanner experience (1.5T and 3T).
• ICU patient care experience.
• Anesthesia patient experience.
• Neuro-spine imaging experience, including brain and brain perfusion.
• Body imaging experience, including abdomen, MRCP, kidney, and pelvis.
• Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• ICU familiarity.
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience.

Clinical Experience / Skills

• Must be able to work with anesthesia and ICU patients.
• Experience with Neuro imaging, including spine, brain, and brain perfusion.
• Experience with Body imaging, including abdomen, MRCP, kidney, and pelvis.
• Experience with MSK imaging.
• Breast, Cardiac, and Prostate imaging are not required.

Unit / Work Setting

• Inpatients at one site; outpatients at all sites.
• 650+ bed facility.
• Equipment includes Philips MR 1.5T and Philips MR 3T scanners.

Other Notes

• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, reliable, flexible, and able to run protocols as written.
• Focus on quality patient-centered care.
• No Maine State Licensing required for MRI.
