Overview

• Travel RN role in the Main OR.
• Floor: Main OR.
• Shift: Weekend Days, Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon, 4x10, 0630-1700.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
• Assignment length: 13 weeks.
• Number of openings: 1.
• Call: any day scheduled, average around 5 or less per 8 weeks.
• Weekend hours: as required by facility.
• Float requirements: as required by facility.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience).
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients.
• Driver's License.
• Flu vaccination or Mercy approved exemption is required for all travelers from November 1-April 1; declinations are not accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching hospital experience will be considered.
• Level 1 trauma with multiple years of experience.

Unit Details

• Number of beds: Main 22, ASC 8, Ortho 10.
• Patient ratio: 1:1.
• Equipment: various kinds DaVinci for the Robot.
• Patient population: outpatient to critical care inpatient.
• Works with a team of nurses and surgical techs for Endo and Open cases.
• Assists with Vascular Surgeon in OR and Hybrid Imaging suite.
