Role

Travel assignment for a Medical Lab Scientist in the Core Laboratory.

Location

Reno, Nevada

Schedule

• Weds - Sat 0700-1730
• Every other Wednesday 2200-0630
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Medical Lab Scientist license in Nevada
• Medical Lab Scientist (2 years of experience)
• Medical Lab Scientist experience within the last year
• 13-week or more of total travel experience
• MLS(ASCP)
• Experience as a generalist across lab benches

Preferred

• NV license
• Core Lab/Generalist experience
• Experience with Chemistry: Roche Cobas Pro, Hematology: Sysmex XN with Cellavision, Coagulation: Stago STAR Max, and Urinalysis: UN 3000

Additional Details

• May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to competency level
• May be required to work 2 or 3 major holidays
• May be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Low-census call off may occur with 48 hours' notice, including full or partial shifts
• Fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment serving inpatient and outpatient populations
