Registered Nurse - OB/GYN (Travel)

Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center and tertiary care regional referral hospital with specialized OB/GYN services including Labor & Delivery (L&D), Mother/Baby, triage, and OB operating rooms.
• Unit includes 7 L&D beds, 14 Mother/Baby beds, 4 triage beds, and 2 OB ORs.
• Patient ratios: L&D 2:1, Mother/Baby 3:1.
• Patient population includes infants, adults, adolescents, and pediatrics.
• Electronic Health Record system: Epic.
• Shift: Day shift, 36 hours per week guaranteed.
• No call requirements.
• Float requirements include RICN (Resource Intensive Care Nurse).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with experience within the last year.
• OB/GYN specialty experience.

Compliance and Clearance Requirements

• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance.
• Department of Human Services Fingerprinting.
• FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting (must be within last 2 years or completed prior to start).
• PATCH—PA State Police Clearance (employment clearance only; volunteer clearances not accepted).
• All fingerprinting must be submitted before onboarding clearance.

Additional Information

• Position is for travel nurses located 60 miles or more from the facility.
• No weekend hours specified.
• No call requirements.
• Patient care focus on labor and delivery with common diagnosis/treatment related to labor.
