Registered Nurse (CVICU) - Travel Position

Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Must have Epic experience (required).
• Navy blue scrubs are required.
• Trauma Level One experience required.
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
• Care for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in ICU.
• Manage high acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
• Competencies include:

  • Ventilator management
  • Arterial lines (a-lines)
  • Spinal drains
  • Hemodynamic monitoring
  • ECG interpretation and monitoring
  • Temporary pacemakers
  • Vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
