Unit Information
- Department: Radiology (MRI)
- Location: 1st Floor, Radiology Department
- Staff: 5 total (2 day shift technologists, 2 evening shift technologists, night shift on-call)
- Equipment: GE 450W 1.5T MRI
- EMR Systems: Meditech, Centricity PACS
Typical Procedures
- Brain, Spine, Orthopedic
- Body, Abdomen, Cardiac
Required Certifications & Licenses
- ARRT (MR) Certification (MR Registered)
- BLS Certification
- Virginia State License (must be in hand at submission)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) Certification
- BLS Certification
Work Schedule & On-Call
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend call rotation: approximately 1 weekend per month
- Night call: 2 weeknights per week (typically 11 PM to 6 AM)
Additional Information
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs
- Preferred skills: Cardiac MRI scans (considered a plus)

Unit is semi friendly you get floated a lot in your first month of contact you all all the supplies you need. Over time is always available
Cons
Resources for your unit some are helpful others are not. If you have to use a timesheet for your pay the CNC doesn’t like that hopefully agency can upgrade that.
