Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT) - Travel Position

Location

Wyoming, Lander

Job Description

Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists in the operating room by anticipating and handing necessary instruments.
Set up and maintain the surgical field, collaborating with the surgical team.
Assemble, transport, and retrieve surgical equipment, ensuring all items leave the room.
Maintain and decontaminate surgical equipment; keep inventory records updated.
Conduct pre- and post-surgery patient care, including shaving, transporting, and applying dressings.
Monitor certain equipment related to vital signs during surgery.
Work 8-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 3 years of experience, including experience within the last year.
National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Experience in a hospital setting is mandatory.
Must be able to work collaboratively in a surgical team environment.
