Job Opportunity: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Spring Grove, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel (Per Diem)
Contract Length: Approximately 6 weeks (43 days)

Job Description

• Position involves working in a 43-bed long term care (LTC) facility and clinic.
• Shifts: 8 or 12 hour variable shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
• Weekend and holiday work as needed.
• No on-call or call-back requirements.
• Work locations include two sites about 25 miles apart.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CNA license in Minnesota.
• Minimum 2 years of CNA experience, including experience within the last year.
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Associate Degree or Certificate.

Additional Information

• Orientation hours are unpaid (8 hours).
• Must start medical compliance portion within 48 hours of offer acceptance (24 hours for quick start).
• Guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays when the unit is closed.
• Staffing: Night shift typically staffed with 1 nurse and 2 CNAs; days/evenings staffed with charge nurse and additional nursing staff.
