Cath Lab Tech (Travel) - Indiana, Newburgh

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 4x10 hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed (except during holidays when unit is closed)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Primary location with a 40-mile radius rule (no local candidates)
• On Call: 1-2 nights per week; 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule

  • Weekend call from Friday 5 PM CST to Monday 6:30 AM CST
  • 30-minute response time required
  • Rotation through holidays on assigned team
• Float Requirements: Full-time resource at primary location

Unit Information

• 12-15 cases per day between Cath Lab & EP
• Team includes 2 Radiologic Technologists (RTs) for Cath Lab, 2 full-time RTs and 1 part-time RT for EP, and 16 RNs between Cath & EP
• Fast-paced environment requiring resilience, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills

Required Qualifications

• License: Indiana state license
• Certifications: ARRT certification required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in EPIC/CUPID charting and GE MacLab/CardioLab equipment
  • Skilled in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including:

    • PTCA/Stent
    • Complex PCI (Shockwave IVL, Rotapro Atherectomy, CSI Atherectomy, kissing balloon technique)
    • IABP, Impella CP support devices
    • IVUS (Philips), iFR/FFR measurements
    • Device implants (PPM, ICD, Bi-V, leadless pacemakers)
  • Vascular procedures (low priority): EKOS Thrombolysis, INARI Thrombectomy
  • Neurovascular procedures (low to medium volume, low priority)
• Preferred Experience: Structural Heart procedures such as TAVR, LAAO, PFO/ASD (experience with PFO/ASD and LAAO preferred; training available for TAVR)
