Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Start Date: March 23, 2026, or ASAP
• Hours: 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts starting between 6 and 8 AM with occasional flexibility
• Weekend/Holiday: No weekend shifts; no holiday call rotation
• On Call: Possible low census on-call with a minimum 2-hour callback pay
• Floating: May be required to float to nearby locations if needed

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years in Nuclear Medicine Technology (higher end of range applies)
• Education: Associate’s degree
• Certifications:

  • BLS
  • ARRT(N) or CNMT
• Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of SPECT/CT and/or PET/CT (training provided)
  • Experience with Siemens equipment is a plus
  • Charting experience with Epic and Merge PACS (training provided)
• Unit Skills:

  • General Nuclear Medicine studies including bone scan, renal, HIDA, gastric emptying, thyroid, lymphoscintigraphy, cardiac, parathyroid exams
• Equipment Used:

  • Symbia Evo SPECT
  • Symbia Intevo SPECT/CT
  • Capintec Thyroid probe
  • Siemens Biograph Vision X PET/CT Scanner

Additional Information

• Scrub colors: Any clean, work-appropriate color or print
• Must be located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Contract includes up to 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• Flu and COVID vaccination required during flu season or mask must be worn at all times
• Call back minimum pay is 2 hours
