Interventional Technologist I

Role Overview

• Assists physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor, and treat conditions without surgery.
• Works with procedures such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management.
• Supports patient preparation, sterile technique, post-testing documentation, quality checks, equipment maintenance, and on-call coverage.
• May assist with teaching, precepting, and onboarding team members.

Schedule

• 4x10 schedule
• On-call nights and weekends, approximately 8–10 shifts per month

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association upon hire
• ACLS
• ARRT (RT)
• Graduation from a post-secondary health science program (e.g., cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, paramedic/EMT) that conforms to ARRT or CCI defined standards
• Knowledge and skill in medical imaging, patient positioning, anatomy and physiology related to specialty imaging procedures, sterile fields, HIPAA, and accurate clinical documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, remain calm under stress, work collaboratively, and maintain accurate records

Experience

• Intended for candidates gaining experience in Interventional Radiology or Invasive Cardiology, or experienced imaging professionals beginning in the discipline
