Contract Length
- 18 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in operating clinical equipment, computers, and technology in the nurse’s practice setting
- Ability to guide, assist, and direct unlicensed assistive personnel as allowed by California Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies
Role Overview
- Provides independent patient care using the nursing process
- Works with the inter-professional team to coordinate care across the continuum
- Cares for patients ranging from infancy to adult
- Manages more complex patient care assignments appropriate to skill level
