Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Long Term Care)

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a Long Term Care facility located on the hospital site.
Responsibilities include:
- Patient assessments and treatments
- Medication administration
- Notifying MD/NP of pertinent patient information
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
- Gastrostomy Tube care
- Urinary Catheter care
- Nebulized Treatment
- Wound Vac care
- CPAP care
- Tracheostomy care
- Other assigned nursing duties
Shift Details:
- 8-hour shifts
- Varied schedule including weekends and holidays
- Flexibility required; no guaranteed hours or shift preference

Requirements

Must have an active Hawaii nursing license by the start of the assignment.
Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required.
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.
Prior travel experience is required.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.

Additional Notes

Flexibility with shift scheduling is essential.
Candidate must be punctual and able to meet the pre-start appointment requirement.
