PACU Registered Nurse

Location

  • Gilbert, Arizona

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Recent Cerner experience within the past 6 months
  • Pass/fail simulation lab on day 1 of orientation
  • Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24–48 hours prior to acceptance, with a maximum of 2 attempts

Schedule

  • 4 x 10-hour day shifts
  • Start times vary between 5:30 AM and 10:00 PM
  • Call required, including weekend and holiday rotation

Unit Details

  • PACU / Pre-Post / Endo
  • Floating may include Pre-op, PACU, and Endo
  • Telemetry required in Pre, PACU, and Endo
  • Ventilator care required in PACU

Patient Population

  • Pre- and post-surgical patients
  • General, orthopedic, spine, gynecologic, endoscopy, vascular, and cystoscopy cases

Additional Information

  • Phone interview after profile review
  • In-house hospitalist or intensivist available
  • Respiratory therapy and pharmacy available 24/7
