Heart and Lung Clinic RN

Location

  • Bismarck, North Dakota

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • 8-hour day shift, 40 hours per week
  • No weekend requirement
  • No holiday requirement
  • No call or standby requirement

Assignment Details

  • 5 pods with approximately 7 rooms each
  • Average of 18 providers in the clinic per day
  • Average of 100 patients per day
  • Floating is limited to the pods within the same clinic

Patient Population

  • Mostly adults with heart disease or pulmonary disease

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Dakota
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Clinic experience within the last year
  • 2 years of clinic experience
  • BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Job Duties

  • Rooming patients
  • Orders
  • Refills
  • Phone calls
  • Anticoagulation per NP orders
  • EKG

Orientation

  • Epic training for 1 day and until comfortable with the flow

Dress Code

  • Scrubs, any color
