Radiologic Technologist (Xray Tech) - Colorado

Location: Durango, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift:

• Day shifts: 10-hour shifts with variable start times (6:00, 7:00, 7:30, or 8:00 AM)
• Night shifts: 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM), scheduled as 3 or 4 shifts per week, alternating weekly
• Weekend shifts required
• No holiday shifts required
• Call or standby only if needed

Job Description

Work in a radiology department performing general X-ray imaging in emergency, outpatient, and inpatient settings. The department has 4 scanners/rooms and uses GE equipment. Imaging studies average 20-30 per day. No floating to other areas is required. Radiologist is on-site. No IV starts required.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Experience with fluoroscopy, general X-ray, C-arm, and portable imaging
• Familiarity with EPIC and Fuji Synapse PACS systems
• Must be available for department-specific orientation
• Must be in-state for orientation week (even if some modules are remote)
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency

Additional Information

• Scrubs are not provided; any professional scrub colors are acceptable
• Orientation includes night shifts (6p-6a) scheduled similarly to regular night shifts
• Must submit driver's license for radius verification (60 miles)
