Scrub Technician (Mid-shift)

Location: Redding, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 10:45 AM – 7:15 PM (8-hour shifts)
Call Requirement: On call / call back required

Job Description

• Position involves working as a Scrub Technician in the Operating Room (OR).
• Mid-shift role, 40 hours per week.
• Must be willing to accept on-call and call-back duties.

Required Qualifications & Credentials

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, with experience within the last year.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• DCI/BVP certification.
• Valid professional license or certification as required for Scrub Technician role.
• Driver’s license, State ID, or Passport required.
• COVID-19: Two vaccines plus booster or completed declination.
• MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive immunity titer.
• Hepatitis B: Vaccination required; declinations not accepted.
• Influenza Vaccine: Required October 1 – May 31; declination accepted.
• TB Test: Within one year of start date.
• Varicella: Vaccination or immunity titer required.
• Tdap: Adult vaccination required; declinations not accepted.
• Annual respirator fit test.
• Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel urine drug screen excluding THC plus psychoactive THC saliva test (California locations only).
• Physical/Health Statement: Must be completed annually and state clearance to work.
• National criminal background check within one year of start date.
• Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration.
• Name verification affidavit if discrepancies exist between credentials.
• Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) or agency attestation.
• Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years).
• Prime Core Competencies Exam: Minimum score 80%.
• Prime Specialty Exam: Minimum score 80%.
• Prime Skills Checklist (does not expire during assignment).
• Drug screening and other onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start.
• Badge photo (clear headshot with plain background).
• Resume and two professional references required for submission.
• Signed job description acknowledgment.
• Education verification.
• Agency attestation form after credential upload.
