Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Contract Length: 52 weeks (1 year)

Provide direct patient care in ICU and Telemetry units, floating between both as needed.
Deliver safe patient care using nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Responsible and accountable for assigned patients’ care, including hemodynamic monitoring and communication with physicians regarding clinical changes.
Guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Valid RN license in Illinois
Minimum 1 year of experience in ICU (Intensive Care Unit), with ICU experience within the last year
Experience in an acute care setting
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Completion of Prime Specialty Exam
Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam
Completion of workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
