Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• DCI/BVP
• CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic

Experience / Skills

• EPIC EMR experience required
• Ventilator management experience preferred

Onboarding Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccination/booster status
• MMR immunity or vaccination proof
• Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination record, or declination
• Influenza vaccine or declination
• TB test within 1 year of start date

Role Summary

• Provides direct patient care in the telemetry unit using the nursing process
• Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Communicates changes in patient condition, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results
• Directs patient/family teaching and guides other nursing personnel
